What is TDL and why would I customise TallyPrime?
TDL (Tally Definition Language) is the language TallyPrime is built with. It lets us add fields, vouchers, reports and print formats so Tally follows your process instead of the other way round.
Will a customisation keep working after a TallyPrime upgrade?
Customisations are written as a separate TDL file that loads alongside TallyPrime, so your data is not changed. When a new TallyPrime release needs an adjustment, we test and update the module for our customers.
How long does a custom Tally module take?
It depends on the size of the process. Small changes such as a new field or print format are usually quick; larger modules are planned with you after we understand the requirement, and we share a timeline before starting.
Do you provide Tally support outside Surat?
Yes. We are based in Surat, Gujarat and work with businesses across India. Most installation, training and support is done online; on-site visits are available in and around Surat.
